Everyone at some point or the other in their lives has gone through earaches due to various reasons. Sometimes it can be due to earworms, or wax accumulation, or even entering of water in to the ear canals. And those who have suffered will know how excruciatingly painful it can be. No matter what you do, it refuses to go. Here is a simple technique that can help you get comfort in situations like these.

You will need –

1 – 1.5 cups of coarse sea salt
A white sock

Preparation –

Carefully stuff the sock up with the sea salt. Try to use sea salt only because it has a special chemical combination that is beneficial in healing process.
You can use a funnel to transfer the salt in to the sock or you can simply roll the edges inside out to prevent the salt from spilling.
Once it is filled, make it tight at the bottom by tying a knot.
Now place a pan on the stove and once it starts heating up, place the salt-filled sock on it.
Keep changing sides of the sock to make sure it doesn’t heat up too much.
After 10 minutes of warming the sides of the sock, take it off and place it on your aching ear.
Be sure to check it is not hot or else it might burn the ear.
This remedy will slowly help you in getting rid of the pain without taking the help of any medications.
